Collectively praises former army chief Buratai for his role in defeating Boko Haram

The umbrella group Tivo Youth Council Worldwide has bombarded former army chief Gen. Yusuf Buratai (rtd) with disparaging comments over his role in defeating the country’s insurgent group Boko Haram. .

Tiv youth leaders introduced several reforms under Buratai’s rule as Chief of Army Staff that undermined the Nigerian Army and enabled soldiers to confront and denigrate ISWAP/Boko Haram and other criminal activities. He pointed out that he did.

The Chairman of Tiv Youth Council Worldwide, while congratulating him on the award of his doctorate degree on Buratai by Igbinedion University, urged him to continue his service to humanity and said he hopes for more prestigious awards and recognitions.
