Chef Dammy invited by police for questioning over petition allegedly filed against her by her pastor; granted administrative bail

Chef Dammy was today, November 23, invited for questioning by men of Zone 17 of the AIG Police in Akure, Ondo State, following a petition allegedly filed against her by her pastor.

Confirming reports of her invitation to LIB, AIG Zone 17 spokesperson DSP Hakeem said the police received a petition against Chef Dammy and she was invited by the police. He said Dammy honored the invitation this afternoon, November 23, and was subsequently granted administrative bail after posting bond.

”She is not in our custody. She was not detained,” he said.

Recall that Chef Dammy rose to prominence after attempting to cook for 120 hours straight, days after Hilda Baci broke the Guinness World Record for longest cooking hours by an individual. Dammy, who had the support of his pastor and church members, later fell out with him. She went on to accuse him of threatening his life. The cleric then filed a case against her, demanding that she withdraw the allegation of threat to her life.
