CAF notifies Nigerian clubs of player registration deadline


The Confederation of African Football (CAF) has issued a deadline for clubs to take part in the 2024-25 club competition.

African football's governing body has given clubs until Tuesday, July 16 to complete the registration of players for the qualifying rounds of the CAF Champions League and Confederations Cup.

CAF has announced that it will not be extending player registrations.

Nigerian Premier Football League champions Rangers and Remo Stars will compete in next season’s CAF Champions League.

President's Federation Cup winners El Kanemi Warriors will compete in the CAF Confederation Cup alongside Enyimba.

Qualifying for the tournament is scheduled to take place next month.
