CAF Confederation Cup: Rivers United to face Algeria's USMA in quarter-finals


Rivers United drew with Algerian side USMA in the CAF Confederations Cup quarter-finals.

The first leg, scheduled to take place at the Godswill Akpabio International Stadium in Uyo, will be played on Sunday, March 31.

The come-from-behind matchup will be decided in Algiers in a week's time.

Rivers United are aiming to become the first Nigerian club to win the CAF Confederation Cup.

The Port Harcourt club lost to Tanzania's Young Africans at the same stage of the tournament last year.

In the other quarter-final matchup, Mali's Stade Marien will face Ghana's Dreams FC.

Abu Salem of Libya will face former champion RS Berkan of Morocco, while Modern Future will face Zamalek in Egypt.
