The Gombe State Executive Council, chaired by Governor Muhammadu Inuwa Yahaya, has approved the three-year Medium Term Expenditure Framework (MTEF) for further submission to the state House of Assembly.

He explained that the preparation of the MTEF has been thorough, encompassing multifaceted assumptions drawn from international, national, regional and state-level economic dynamics.

He said these assumptions were made based on a comprehensive assessment of income and expenditure parameters.

Information and Culture Secretary Mijinyawa Tilde, who coordinated the briefing, said that the approval of the three-year MTEF reflects the state government’s prudent financial planning aimed at ensuring effective allocation of development initiatives and sustainable resources.
