Boko Haram: military neutralizes four terrorists
Troops of the Multinational Joint Task Force (MNJTF) Sector 3 said on Friday that they have killed four Boko Haram terrorists in Malam Fatoli in northern Borno state.
This was made by the Chief Military Public Relations Officer of the MNJTF, Lieutenant Colonel Abubakar Abdullahi, in a statement issued in Maiduguri.
Abdullahi said the terrorists were killed in Waro (Gashigal) and Kudagurg villages.
He said the two terrorists were encountered and killed in Waro Warada as troops marched into Gashigal to clear out remnants of Boko Haram fighters.
He also said that as a result of the operation, 29 rounds of 7.62 mm special ammunition, three magazines and an AK-47 rifle were recovered.
“Similarly, the forces deployed to Malam Fatli conducted a combat patrol to Kudagurg where two other terrorists were neutralized and a large number of valuables including IED manufacturing materials, one AK-47 rifle and three magazines were recovered. A cache of items was recovered.” The statement was affirmed.
He added that the MNJTF remains steadfast in its determination to accomplish its mission in Nigeria.
