Former Dawaki Ward Councilor Aminu Khalid yesterday told journalists that terrorists have invaded three communities in Dawaki Ward in Kauru Local Government Area of ​​Kaduna State, killing 17 people and fearing 58 others have been kidnapped. did.

Khalid said three villages were affected by the attack, including Ungwan Sako, Kungklai and Dokan Kazi.

He said local residents rescued 20 villagers in a gunfight with the attackers, but nine villagers lost their lives in the process.

Mr. Khalid lamented the constant attacks on communities by terrorists and called for the military to intervene and save people.

He said, “The terrorists infiltrated these communities on foot and at the same time secured advantageous positions. Terrorists always come from parts of Kajuru forest and Katia forest where the camp is located.The camp is located in Kajuru district of the state. It is located in Dassen Magguna, Parliament.

“Unless the Nigerian military attacks terrorist camps, the communities around them will never experience peace.”

Sani said on his Facebook page: “We received information from the security forces that a group of bandits attacked Dokan Karji general area in Kauru LGA and other locations in Gefe general area in Kajuru LGA. In these places, lives were lost in the unfortunate attack. , some civilians were kidnapped and others injured.”

Expressing anger over the gruesome attacks and killings by terrorists in the community, the governor further said: “We condemn these barbaric acts in the strongest terms. The perpetrators of these heinous crimes have no place in a civilized society like ours. We will hunt them down and bring them to justice. I'm going to do whatever it takes to make it happen.
