The Lagos Coroner’s Court has said that the most important aspects of the autopsy to determine the cause of death of late singer Mohubado are being carried out in the United States of America.
State Prosecutor O. Akinde on Wednesday informed Coroner Judge Adetayo Shotobi that the autopsy of the deceased’s external remains had been completed.
Mr. Akinde made this disclosure following concerns raised by lawyers for Mr. Mohubado’s father, Mr. David Fadim, Mr. David Nawura of TNKay Music Worldwide, and Mr. OSA Alanmolalan, representative of the Nigerian Bar Association (NBA) in Ikorodu. Ta.
A state prosecutor said, “Toxicity tests related to the body are being conducted in the United States.”
DAILY POST reported that Mr. Mohubado passed away in a controversial manner on September 12, 2023 and was buried the next day in Ikorodu area of Lagos State.
Following protests following his death, the Inspector General of Police (IGP), Kayode Egbetokun, ordered a forensic investigation to determine the cause of death.
Also, the Lagos State Police Commissioner, Idowu Olowunwa, based on the IGP’s directive, set up a 10-member team, including a pathologist, to exhume the singer’s body and investigate the death.
