Another soldier criticizes Governor Sanwo-Olu for arresting his colleague who was on a one-way journey along the Lagos-Badagry expressway (video)

It is absolutely outrageous how these Nigerian soldiers believe they are untouchable and better than their fellow Nigerians. Being a soldier does not give anyone immunity before the law! Every soldier is subject to the same laws that apply to ordinary Nigerian citizens. The recent incident involving the detained soldier and others who blatantly support this lawlessness is shameful. I strongly urge that immediate action be taken by the high command of the Nigerian Army, and that these soldiers, including the one in custody, be dismissed from the Nigerian Army. Serving in the military is not a right, but a privilege, and must be treated with the utmost humility, respect and honesty. It is outrageous that some individuals in the military think otherwise. It is high time such arrogance was dealt with sternly and those responsible for tarnishing the image of the Nigerian Army face the consequences of their actions.
