EPL: Ancelotti receives shock offer to replace Ten Hag at Man United

Ancelotti named world's best soccer player

Real Madrid manager Carlo Ancelotti has named attacking midfielder Jude Bellingham the best footballer in the world at the moment.

Ancelotti said on Friday, as Real Madrid prepare to begin their Copa del Rey trophy defense this weekend.

Ancelotti's side will face fourth-tier Arandina CF in the round of 32 of the Copa del Rey on Saturday after lifting the cup with Sevilla last May.

“Jude Bellingham is the best player in the world,” Ancelotti said (via MadridXtra).

Bellingham joined Real Madrid from Borussia Dortmund last summer and has sparked a rise in La Liga.

The England international played 22 games in all competitions for Los Blancos, scoring 17 goals and providing five assists.

He scored 14 goals in his first 15 games for Real Madrid, becoming Real Madrid's fastest goalscorer in history.

This surpasses the previous joint record of Cristiano Ronaldo, Alfredo Di Stéfano and Pruden Sanchez, who had 13 goals in their first 15 games.
