Alleged Drug Dealer TikTok Star Cooper Noriega Arrested After Fatal Overdose
A suspect who allegedly supplied TikTok star Cooper Noriega with the illicit drugs that caused his fatal overdose has been arrested.
Remember, Cooper was found dead in the parking lot of a shopping mall on the outskirts of Los Angeles. Subsequent reports revealed that he died of an accidental drug overdose.
TMZ reported that a California man who allegedly ran a drug trafficking operation providing same-day delivery of cocaine and fentanyl-laced pills has been arrested and indicted on federal narcotics charges. He was accused of providing the drugs in a fatal fentanyl overdose.
The victim at the center of the case is “CN” and Cooper’s father confirmed that the victim is Cooper.
Prosecutors told the publication that Erick Oved Estrada ran an illegal drug operation from his Calabasas home, with one of his associates delivering oxycodone laced with fentanyl to CN, which ultimately caused a fatal overdose.
The feds say Estrada sold fentanyl-laced pills to Arian Alani, and Alani sold them to CN, who ingested them and died of an overdose.
Prosecutors alleged that Alani texted Estrada “my son died yesterday,” in reference to CN and that Estrada “shouldn’t sell (expletive) with fentanyl.”
The feds say Estrada and Alani are each charged with one count of distribution of fentanyl resulting in death, among other charges.
Cooper’s father, Harold Noriega, said in a statement that he is grateful that a police investigation led to arrests and charges and that “the family is very happy” with the outcome.
