AFCON 2023: Super Eagles camp bubbles with 19 players

The Super Eagles' 2023 Africa Cup of Nations camp in Abu, Dhabi, United Arab Emirates came alive on Wednesday night with the arrival of Samuel Chukwueze and Stanley Nwabili.

With the addition of these two players, the number of players in camp has increased to 19.

Victor Osimhen, Francis Uzoho, Alhassan Yusuf, Kelechi Iheanacho and William Troost-Ekong are among the players still expected to be in camp.

The players held their first training session on Wednesday night ahead of the tournament in Abu Dhabi.

Jose Peseiro's side will spend around a week at home in Abu Dhabi before heading to Abidjan for the 2023 African Cup of Nations next Wednesday.
