AFCON 2023: Morocco, Guinea-Bissau first to Ivory Coast


DAILY POST reported that Morocco and Guinea-Bissau have arrived in Ivory Coast to take part in the 2023 African Cup of Nations.

Both arrived in the West African country on Sunday.

Morocco's Atlas Lions, who reached the quarter-finals two years ago, are in Group F alongside two-time champions DR Congo, 2012 champions Zambia and Tanzania's Taifa Stars.

The 1976 champions will be competing for the 19th time in the history of the championship.

Guinea-Bissau will face Ivory Coast, Equatorial Guinea and Nigeria in Group A.

Jultus will face Ivory Coast's Elephants in the opening game of the tournament.
