Adeleke’s absence, strategy to avoid one-year management responsibility report – Osun APC

The All Progressives Congress (APC) in Osun State has accused Governor Ademola Adeleke of lying about his whereabouts.

The APC also rebuked Governor Adeleke’s spokesperson, Mr. Olawale Rasheed, for announcing that Governor Adeleke had embarked on a short working visit to Europe and Asia.

The governor, in a statement by his spokesperson, Olawale Rasheed, announced that Adeleke has begun a working holiday to Europe and Asia.

Rasheed also disclosed through a statement that Governor Adeleke has embarked on efforts to finalize partnership agreements with investors and development partners.

However, Osun APC in a statement signed by its chairman, Tajudeen Lawal, on Sunday, disclosed that Governor Adeleke had been on vacation in the United States for the past two weeks.

The paper claimed that the statement from the governor’s office purporting to be his visit can be said to be full of contradictions that were criminally engineered to hide some information.

Lawal also claimed that Adeleke left the country soon after the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) suffered a weakening defeat in Kogi State.

“This is, of course, just laying the groundwork for Governor Adeleke not to actually come to the state for the upcoming one year celebrations of his administration.

“It has been gathered that tomorrow, instead of the governor being physically present, a recorded statement of the governor will be played to the people of the state.

“No one can begrudge anyone for getting sick or caring for someone who is sick. That is beyond the control of any human being except God Almighty. But it is important to always speak the truth and stand by the people. Look at those who believe in the national mission.” The truth.

“We are well aware that Governor Adeleke fled the state due to his inability to duly discharge his stewardship responsibilities to the people of the state.

“Since assuming office in November 2022, Governor Adeleke has brought the state into a tailspin with his sheer incompetence, lack of proper education and zero administrative acumen.

“He is afraid to reveal to the people of Osun how he has mismanaged the revenue of over 130 billion naira that has accrued to the government in the past year.

“As parents of UNIOSUN students struggle with the tuition hike forced by his administration, he informed them how he has allocated over N10 billion for food, entertainment and office use in the supplementary budget. afraid to speak.

“Governor Adeleke is ashamed to face the people of Osun that a year later his promise to make Osun the second Dubai was a fluke.

“Adeleke failed to provide palliatives to the people of Osun in the face of economic hardship due to removal of fuel subsidy and looting of N9 billion naira collected from the Federal Government by the satanic government. I’m distraught about facing people.

“Mr Adeleke faces the wrath of Osun residents that he is playing a ploy to line his own pockets when a serious state like Ogun is investing in compressed natural gas (CNG) buses that can make transportation cheaper. They are putting Osun’s money into unsustainable diesel-powered vehicles that they bought more than 10 years ago.”

Osun APC also maintained that Adeleke’s absence from Monday’s one-year anniversary celebrations of his administration would set a dangerous precedent, saying such a situation had never happened before in the country’s history.
