‘Absolutely rubbish’ – Roy Keane slams Manchester United’s Ten Hag player despite Everton win
Former Manchester United captain Roy Keane has criticized manager Erik ten Hag for praising Bruno Fernandes for conceding a penalty to Marcus Rashford against Everton.
Alejandro Garnacho’s super strike gave United a 1-0 lead, but the referee awarded a penalty for a foul on Anthony Martial.
Fernandes, the team’s designated penalty taker, opted to allow Rashford to take the penalty.
The England forward stepped up and scored to make it 2-0.
After the match, Keane criticized Ten Hag for supporting Fernandes’ decision.
He said: ‘He’s giving a toffee to Bruno who handed the ball over for the penalty.
“It’s absolute garbage. What comes out of it is absolutely garbage.”
