Abiodun approves generous Christmas bonus for Ogun workers

Ogun State Governor, Prince Dapo Abiodun has approved a year-end bonus package for state civil servants.

The bonus applies to all levels of the workforce and is intended to provide some support amid the economic challenges facing the country.

Christmas bonuses range from 68% to a whopping 159% of base salary. A police officer at level 01 receives an impressive remuneration of her 159%, while police officers at other levels enjoy varying percentages as per circulars from the Office of the State Head of Service (HoS).

Level 02 officers are (165), level 03 (135), level 04 (122), level 05 (113), level 06 (104), level 07 (88), level 08 (81), level 09 (88) , level 10(70).

The others are level 12 (80), level 13 (80), level 14 (68), level 15 (70), level 16 (102), and level 17 (84).

Monetarily, levels 1 to 8 receive a bonus of 20,000 Naira, levels 9 and 10 (25,000 Naira), level 12 (35,000 Naira), levels 13 and 14 (40,000 Naira), and level 15 (55,000 Naira). ), Levels 16 and 17 (N100,000).

This initiative builds on the Abiodun-led administration's continued efforts to support civil servants.

Recall that the Prince Abiodun-led administration is paying N10,000 transportation allowance to public servants including pensioners and teachers in the state following the abolition of fuel subsidy.

Additionally, the administration has been diligently addressing outstanding pensions, gratuities, deductions, and other obligations.
