People of Ala Imenyi Autonomous Community of Romara, Umunnochi Local Government Area of ​​Abia State have informed the Abia State Government of the discovery of an object suspected to be a bomb in their community.

The people of Ala Imenyi, who said their land has been witnessing various forms of insecurity over the past few years, called for a security strategy to bring the situation under control and for the continuation of the war against banditry, Alex Otti said. He expressed his gratitude to the new administration of the governor.

They appealed to the state government to implement more development projects in the community.

In response, Mr. Umeh promised to convey the Ala Imenyi report to the Abia State Government.

Mr Umeh thanked Otti for addressing the dire security situation that has rocked Umnochi in the past and assured the people that kidnapping, armed robbery and other forms of crime will never be tolerated in any part of Umnochi.
