2026 WCQ: Terra celebrates his Super Eagles debut

Nathan Tella is excited to make his debut with the Super Eagles.

The Bayer Leverkusen winger has been handed his first invitation to Nigeria’s 2026 FIFA World Cup qualifiers against Lesotho and Zimbabwe.

The 24-year-old was on the bench for Lesotho’s game against Likuena.

However, the former Arsenal star started against Zimbabwe and was substituted after the break.

“I had a good experience away from home. I’m happy to make my debut with the Super Eagles,” he wrote on his Instagram page.

The Super Eagles are expected to be Nigeria’s national team for the 2023 Africa Cup of Nations.
