A 27-year-old businesswoman, Mary Jideobi, was on Monday, September 18, arraigned in an space courtroom in Kado, Abuja, for allegedly pouring pepper on her neighbour. The prosecutor, Stanley Nwafoaku, advised the courtroom that the defendant, someday in July met the complainant, Janet Odeh, whereas she was with her daughter (complainants) and accused them of getting a dialogue about her, NAN studies. He claimed she interfered in the complainants dialogue with her daughter, attacked them verbally and poured a pepper combine on the complainant, opposite to Sections 399 and 247 of the Penal Code. The defendant pleaded not responsible. The Judge, Malam Muhammed Wakili, admitted the defendant to bail in the sum of N100,000 and a surety in like sum and adjourned to October 19.
