Human rights lawyer, Femi Falana (SAN), has demanded a Coroners Inquest into the death of Ilerioluwa Aloba, aka Mohbad. Falana made the demand following the controversial death of Mohbad, on September 12, 2023, and was laid to relaxation the subsequent day.The request was contained in a letter to the Chief Coroner, High Court of Lagos State in Ikeja.In the letter, Falana mentioned his legislation agency was conscious of the very tragic death of Mohbad and wished an inquest to be carried out into the reason for death of this younger promising musician and make applicable suggestions pursuant to Section 15 of the Lagos State Coroners Law 2007 which supplies that an inquest shall maintain at any time when a coroner is knowledgeable that the death of a deceased individual inside his Coroner District is because of a death in a violent, unnatural or suspicious state of affairs. 
The request, signed by Folakemi Falana and dated September 18, 2023, added: We hereby request Your Lordship to conduct an inquest into the circumstances surrounding the tragic death in Lagos State and we’re assured that Your Lordship will accede to our request with utmost urgency.
