The Lagos State Government has shut down the Deck-on-Pile Bridge at Ijora Olopa inbound Ijora Oloye, following a massive crack. A press release launched, the state Commissioner for Transportation, Dr. Fredric Oladeinde, who on Wednesday May 17, added that the bridge has been shut down for repairs. Oladeinde, who didn’t give particular interval the repairs and diversion would final, confused that there might be street diversion and that the diversion grew to become crucial pending repairs to be carried out by the Federal Government, in collaboration with the state authorities. The commissioner listed the following routes already mapped out to reduce inconvenience, together with Motorists from Eko Bridge to make the most of Iganmu/Sifax to entry Ijora Oloye or Apapa.
