A man, Jibrin Sawuta, on Thursday, May 25, dragged a middle-aged woman, Hassana Yohanna, earlier than an Upper Customary Court in Kafanchan, Kaduna State, for allegedly calling him impotent. Yohanna was docked on three counts of intentional insult, defamation and prison intimidation. The offence runs opposite to sections 312, 371 and 376 of the Kaduna State Penal Code Law. In a direct prison grievance filed earlier than the court, Sawuta alleged that he was chatting with pals within the palace of the village head of Fadan Kagoma when he obtained info that his brother had been arrested by the police. On getting to the station, he stated, the defendant emerged from nowhere and began hurling insults at him, saying he was impotent and had no youngster. He stated after insulting him, the defendant inexplicably rushed at him. When the cost was learn to the defendant, she pleaded not responsible. She then prayed the court to grant her bail, to which the defendant objected. In his ruling, the presiding choose, George Gwani granted the defendant bail within the sum of N30,000 and one surety who have to be a district head inside the jurisdiction of the court. Gwani adjourned the matter till June 19 to allow the complainant current witnesses to show his case.  The submit Kaduna man drags woman to court for allegedly calling him impotent appeared first on Linda Ikeji Blog.
