A man, Jibrin Sawuta, on Thursday, May 25, dragged a middle-aged woman, Hassana Yohanna, earlier than an Upper Customary Court in Kafanchan, Kaduna State, for allegedly calling him impotent. Yohanna was docked on three counts of intentional insult, defamation and prison intimidation. The offence runs opposite to sections 312, 371 and 376 of the Kaduna State Penal Code Law. In a direct prison grievance filed earlier than the court, Sawuta alleged that he was chatting with pals within the palace of the village head of Fadan Kagoma when he obtained info that his brother had been arrested by the police. On getting to the station, he stated, the defendant emerged from nowhere and began hurling insults at him, saying he was impotent and had no youngster. She then prayed the court to grant her bail, to which the defendant objected.
