The deputy governor of Lagos state, Dr. Obafemi Hamzat dusted the Labour Party and the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) to win his polling unit for the All Progressives Congress (APC).
The Lagos state deputy governor won his uint with a wide margin while his closest rivals got equal number of votes.
Dr. Hamzat’s votes at polling unit 002 in Oke-Balogun went primarily to APC candidate Babajide Sanwo-Olu. The APC received 218 votes in Oke-Balogun, while Dr. Azeez Adediran of the PDP and Gbadebo Rhodes-Vivour of the Labour Party received 5 votes each.
