Kebbi State Governor, Abubakar Atiku Bagudu and the All Progressives Congress (APC) Governorship Candidate, Dr. Nasir Idris, yesterday, commended the Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC) for the visible improvement recorded during the Governorship and State Assembly Elections in the state.
Also, the Chairman of APC Progressives Governor’s Forum, Senator Abubakar Atiku, made the commendation shortly after casting his vote at Garkar Mai Alelu Polling Unit 006 in Nasarawa 11, Birnin Kebbi.

“But today, voting materials arrived at 8.00a.m. Many people have voted, and it is about noon and many people are still voting. Accreditation process is going on well.”
Similarly, Idris expressed delight over the large turnout of voters, especially women and youths to exercise their franchise.
He commended the INEC, security agents, Civil Society Organisations (CSOs), the media and other stakeholders for contributing to the peaceful conduct of yesterday’s elections in the state.
He assured the people that his administration would operate an open-door policy and the people would enjoy the dividend of democracy.
