Chelsea legend, Pat Nevin, heaped praises on Nigeria’s Alex Iwobi for putting up an heroic display in Everton’s Premier League 2-2 draw against the Blues on Saturday.

According to Nevin, the Nigerian Midfielder stood out during the encounter at Stamford Bridge, adding that his physicality and pace helped Everton against Chelsea.

Iwobi was impressive as goals from Joao Felix, Abdoulaye Doucoure, Ellis Simms, and Kai Havertz ensured both teams drew.

“At the moment [first-half], the player who is standing out for me for Everton is Alex Iwobi. Really really impressive,” Nevin said on BBC Radio 5 Sports Extra.
